It has been said we are never too old to dream, and that is just what you hear in the opening track of Randy Seedorff's 2021 released project, Begin Again. It has been said we are never too old to dream, and that is just what you hear in the opening track of Randy Seedorff's 2021 released project, Begin Again. Randy brings his country rock style to his cover of Dream, which says "Who are you to tell me what I can't do, well that ain't right..." and sets the stage for this musical journey. Original tune Family Tree is a look back at milestones that shaped Randy's life. Don't miss the guitar licks on this one! Never Alone takes a turn into Randy's country blues and discusses even through the depths of emotional turmoil in life we are never alone. It Takes A Whole Lotta Jesus is a tender reflection of Randy's walk with Jesus. Things pick back up with track 5, the long awaited cover of My Maria, for Randy's wife. The Poet, the project's fourth original tune, is a bluesy walk through the inspiration of a writer... "through the eyes of the poet." Why Me Lord is the well-known Kris Kristofferson cover and has deep meaning for Randy. At family gatherings this was the song his brother John sang. He is gone but never forgotten. Finally, Randy rounds out this project with his traditional country rendition of I Know Who Holds Tomorrow. Begin Again is Randy Seedorff's fourth studio album.

This long anticipated 2013 release from Randy Seedorff and Soul Purpose boasts 10 original tracks, plus one from our good friend and brother, Shane Rootes. The title track kicks things off with a powerful groove and serious power chords, followed by the upbeat I Choose Love. Ain't Got Nothin' But The Blues takes a darker turn, but leaves that behind with the "kick off the weekend" attitude of Chasin' The Wind. Then, songwriter Randy Seedorff shows his sentimental side with the acoustic Road That Leads Home. Soul Purpose is honored to record Jesus We Lift Your Name On High, by British worship leader and recording artist Shane Rootes. No Greater Love brings a softer groove, and features the backing vocals of Jeff and Jeannie Furst. No Plan B kicks things up again, with the band's signature high energy sound. Victory is a soulful remake of a song Randy wrote in 1999, while Change is an upbeat version of a praise and worship chorus. Finally, the tender acoustic Be Praised Oh God puts the finishing touch on the project. This collection of tunes demonstrates the musical diversity of Randy and the band, and gives the listener just a hint of the energy and sheer enjoyment this group of guys has when they play together. They were privileged to record this project at Awestruck Studios, under the expertise of Larry Gann and Matt Russo.
